Inheritance of Shadow is a black and white abstract photograph by Ugnė Pouwell that explores transmission, repetition, and the residual force of form. Structured through a sequence of illuminated geometric elements and their diffused shadows, the work moves between precision and atmosphere, reading as both a formal study of light and a meditation on what is carried forward across generations, structures, or states of being.

Created through an analogue photographic process and printed as an archival pigment print on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta, chosen for its smooth surface, baryta depth, and rich tonal range. Signed and numbered by the artist, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
